What I Wore; a recent night out!
I thought I would start a new little series called “What I Wore”, where I post a photo of myself and then let you know what makeup I’m wearing. This look was for a night out dancing, I worked in golden tones, then added some turquoise for a splash of color.

What an awesome feature…love it!
very pretty. love the color combo. please do continue to post these!
This is a great feature. I love the turquoise.
You look so freakin’ fabulous, Melisser! I love golden tones, but I just cannot do turquoise *jealous*
That’s so pretty!
It would be great if you make a post about your ” cruelty-free must-haves”
Love it! Please do more. I hate when I see “what I wore” stuff or makeup looks/tip videos that don’t use vegan products because I can’t replicate the looks very easily. This is such a perfect and needed solution. There are so many product reviews out there but so few focus on vegan products, so product reviews might be nice as well. I also love that you linked the products. Keep it up….please!!!
Thank you for your kind words!
I love this and look forward to more!
How did you do the blue over the liner under your eye? With a fine brush?
And I now need a OCC lip tar, I’m trying to decide between Divine and Memento!
I lightly lined with the pencil, then took a small brush with a rounded tip and smudged it over the pencil to blend out any harsh lines.
Gorgeous! Love the turquoise accent.
Hi Melisser – loving the site – it’s so useful and helpful! I just thought I would chime in to let you know that, but also to point out that there seems to be no RSS feed that works for the site. Since I read all of my favourite blogs through Google Reader, this means I can’t really keep up to date on your posts! So I guess this is just a little request for a functional RSS feed.
Thanks Valerie! I’ll get to work on that.
Actually, does this work for you? http://www.crueltyfreeface.com/?feed=rss2 I’m subscribed to it..?!
I wore this look the other day, sorta. I ended up using the gold shadow in my UD vegan palette since I didn’t have the same shadows, but I did have the same liner. So cute! Thanks for the new idea.
Awesome! I’m sure you looked FAB!
I LOVE this look!! I adore any look with gold and turquoise, so this is stellar to me =)
